Amar Suloev (born 7 January 1976) is an Armenian Mixed martial artists. He is a kickboxer/ wrestler who has last fought Jacek Buczko at M-1 Challenge , where he won by a TKO (kick and punches). Suloev has 24 wins on his record where 15 of them are in the first round, he has fought in the UFC twice.
Amar Suloev blew on to the UFC in 2002 boasting a 13-2-0 record which included a 12 fight win streak. His streak ended at UFC 35 when he fought Chuck Liddell. Being one of the only 7 people to go the distance with Liddell, already gave him honor. Regardless, losing that fight ended his 12 fight winning streak.
The UFC invited Suloev back to UFC 37 to fight Phil Baroni, where a controversial knee by Suloev was landed while Baroni was on his knees getting up, shortly after the referee stood them up, Baroni landed a flurry of punches which earned him a rematch against Matt Lindland.
