Bobby Lashley Tweets

Franklin Roberto Lashley (born July 16, 1976) is an American professional wrestler, mixed martial arts fighter and former collegiate amateur wrestler. He is perhaps best known from his time in World Wrestling Entertainment, where he was a two time ECW World Champion and a one time United States Champion. He has recently signed a multi-fight contract with Strikeforce.

Lashley has been training full-time in MMA and made his debut at the Mixed Fighting Alliance (MFA) inaugural event "There Will Be Blood" on December 13, 2008 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL. He won via TKO (cut) over Joshua Franklin in 41 seconds of round 1. Lashley's next fight was on March 21, 2009. He was supposed to fight Ken Shamrock, but his opponent was changed to veteran Jason Guida after Shamrock tested positive for steroids.

Lashley has stated that he would eventually like to fight Brock Lesnar after he has more experience in Mixed Martial Arts.
