Vernon Verdell "Tiger" White (born December 3, 1971) is a professional mixed martial arts fighter who has fought in the UFC, Pancrase, and the IFL. He lives in California, and belongs to the fighting team The Lion's Den. He holds wins over David Terrell, Vladimir Matyushenko, Sam Hoger, and Marvin Eastman. White will now be fighting in the International Fight League, under Ken Shamrock's Nevada Lions.
White has recently signed with Affliction Clothing's MMA promotion and was scheduled to fight Antonio Rogerio Nogueira on July 19 on the promotion's first event Affliction Banned. However White was removed from the card due to failing a drug test giving by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. The test showed a presence of diuretic in his system, a drug used by fighters to easily cut water weight before pre-fight weigh ins. White will appeal the decision in an NSAC hearing on July 9. If suspended by the commission, White will be unable to compete for eight months.
White appeared on the April 7, 1997 airing of the World Wrestling Entertainment program Raw is War, losing a worked 'shoot fight' to Ken Shamrock.
