Wes "Soldier" Combs (born June 6, 1973) born in USA is a mixed martial arts fighter. He currently competes in the Super heavyweight (MMA) division. He is a former contestant on the hit reality show Ultimate Fighter on Spike. Wes was supposed to be on the show but due to undisclosed issues he could not make the show.
After the taping of the show Wes was able to make to on The Ultimate Finale 3 were he faced Mike Nickels. Wes then was invited back by UFC to fight Wilson Gouveia at UFC 62. He lost his last fight at King of the Cage - Rock Solid against Tony Lopez on July 19, 2008.
His nickname "Soldier" come's from his non stop work ethic. He has fought for MMA organizations such as the UFC, and King of the Cage. Wes's most notable fights were against Shannon Ritch, Mike Nickels, and Wilson Gouveia.
