Zelg "Benkei" Galesic is a Croatian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter, currently fighting in DREAM. He has previously fought in Cage Rage, PRIDE and HERO'S. He is also a certified ITF Taekwon-Do 4th Degree Black belt.

Zelg was undefeated in amateur rules in the UK at the Combat Sports Open Trials, where all but one of his fights were won in under a minute. His pro MMA debut was on 12 September 2004 at Ultimate Combat 11: Wrath of the Beast where Zelg won by referee stoppage after 16 seconds against Jim Bentley

On 30 August 2007 he (at the time British Cage Rage Middleweight Champion) was made an offer to fight for HERO'S, which he accepted. He lost his first fight with them against Yoon Dong-sik.

Zelg is often called "Croatian Wonderkid" or "Little CroCop" but best known as Benkei, a legendary Japanese warrior. He is, like fellow Croatians Mirko Filipovic and Branko Cikatic, known for his striking and stand-up fighting.
