before for several hours. That was Mask. If he believed in you as a person and a fighter, he was the most loyal guy around. He really invested in the fighters that TapouT sponsored, and I'm not talking about just financially. He invested emotionally and spiritually into his fighters. I think that is why he was so loved in the MMA world. The sport of MMA lost a great champion and advocate when Charles died. FiveKnuckles.com: You recently signed a long-term sponsorship agreement with cash4gold.com and are launching what sounds like an amazing promotional contest. Tell me about it.
Damacio Page: I am honored to be partnering with a company like Cash4Gold.com that is the leader of their industry. They are great business people who are also huge MMA fans. They have a great roster of fighters and are quickly becoming one of the most recognized brands in the sport. They have been very good to me and I am looking forward to working with them for a long time.
The contest we are doing is one of the coolest promotions in the MMA world. People who register with Cash4gold.com by signing up at www.cash4gold.com/damacio will be entered to win an all expense trip to train 1-on-1 with me for three days at Jackson's Mixed Martial Arts in New Mexico. I will teach everything from striking to jiu-jitsu and everything in between. I'll spend some time covering mental preparation as well. The contest will end on Jan. 31, 2010 and the training will start soon after. Also, the winner will receive some cool MMA apparel from Tapout and some great training gear from MMA Pro Sports.

Scott was looking to fill a spot on a WEC fight card that was coming up in 10 days. Jahani called me up and asked if I wanted to take the fight. We've been working together ever since. I think that Joey Villasenor and I were his first clients and we've been with him ever since as his firm has grown. The Machi team treats their fighters like family.
FiveKnuckles.com: What is it like to train with Greg Jackson, Rashad Evans, GSP, Keith Jardine, and the rest of the team at Jackson Mixed Martial Arts?
Damacio Page: They are my friends, my family. We all came up together before any of us were really anything in this sport. These guys are all my role models. They have taught me so much about work ethic and exhibiting unwavering tenacity in all aspects of life. In particular, Greg has taught me so much. He has taught me to be humble and to have an open mind. His philosophy is that everyone can be a teacher. If you have...
