early then they trade punches to the head. Struve takes Buentello to the cage and lands 2 good elbows to the head. They break and Buentello fires back but the round belongs to the tall man at the half way point. More leg kicks by Struve are now taking their toll on Buentello but he continues to stalk forward. Buentello lands a nice right and knocks Struve down but allows him time to get up with only 20 seconds remaining. The leg kicks were the difference on our card, giving Struve the round and the win.

Final Result: Struve wins by majority decision.

Kenny Florian vs. Clay Guida

Round 1:  They come out throwing but not landing anything significant. Florian throws a head kick that lands but does no damage and Guida scores a takedown from it. Guida looks for some ground and pound but Florian scrambles to his feet before taking much damage. Guida is the aggressor while Florian stays calm and counters. They're both throwing and landing but not hurting each other. Florian shoots for a single leg but Guida defends it then shoots on Florian but ends up on the bottom. Both men are bleeding but Guida has blood pouring from his head. Mario Yamasaki stops the fight and asks for a doctor. The doctor allows the fight to continue but the round is pretty much over. Florian's late flurries earn him the 10-9 win on our card.

Round 2:  Florian lands some good jabs early. Guida shoots but Florian sprawls and they go back to standing. Guida is bleeding profusely and it might be affecting his vision at this point. Guida continues to come forward but Florian keeps his distance then lands a devastating right then pounces and lands some big punches before sinking in a rear naked choke to end the brawl.

Final Result: Florian wins by submission (choke) at 2:19 of round 2.

Jon Fitch vs. Mike Pierce

Round 1:  The fight starts with good standing action then Fitch catches a kick and takes Pierce down and gets his back. Pierce is fighting off the choke but Fitch is landing some punches to try to sneak the arm in. Pierce finally spins out and takes Fitch down but Fitch has his arms tied up. Fitch gets to his feet where he gets pinned to the cage and the ref breaks them up. Fitch lands a leg kick then they trade punches with Fitch getting an advantage. Fitch shoots as the round ends but wins the round 10-9 on FiveKnuckles' card.

Round 2:  Pierce forces Fitch to the cage again and works some low knees. Fitch gets free and takes control of the standup momentarily before taking Pierce down and getting his back again. Pierce turns and works to his feet where they break and continue to box. Pierce lands a nice combination but Fitch seems unphased by it. Fitch shoots, scores, and takes Pierce's back again. Pierce gets to his feet but Fitch keeps his back and maintains control. Pierce is able to turn into the clinch again and breaks free. Fitch ends the round with 2 unsuccessful takedown attempts and a nice flurry. Another 10-9 round for Fitch.

Round 3:  Both fighters are swinging hard and Fitch shoots right away only to find Pierce's sprawl. Pierce cuts off the angle and pins Fitch to the fence again but he's unable to do any damage. Fitch clinches the head and lands a few good knees to the body. Pierce gets him to the cage...
