He gets to his back and Cro Cop lands in his guard and delivers a left elbow that opens a nasty cut on his forehead. The doctor looks at it and says he can continue but the gash is nasty. Perosh shoots right away but eats a flurry to the side of his head. The round ends with another 10-9 victory for Cro Cop and referee Herb Dean will not allow Perosh to begin round 3.final result: Filipovic wins by TKO (cut stoppage) at 5:00 of round 2.
Ryan Bader vs. Keith Jardine
round 1- Jardine's stance is a bit lower than usual, seemingly to avoid a takedown. They trade punches and Bader pushes him to the cage. They break free and exchange some big rights. Bader lands a roundhouse right then scores the takedown. Jardine applies a butterfly guard then pulls half guard as Bader tries to pass. Bader is landing some punches and short elbows but nothing too devastating. Jardine keeps Bader's body close and the referee stands them up where Jardine lands a nice right. The round ends in a 10-9 for Bader as blood comes from a small cut on the head of Jardine.
round 2- Bader lands a leg kick to start the round and Jardine answers with a hard leg kick. Bader shoots but Jardine stays on his feet and backs up to the cage where they break free again. A looping right by Bader misses and Jardine answers with a 1-2 combo. Another Bader shot is averted by The Dean. Jardine is waving Bader forward with his hands low. He lands a nice right to Bader's head then another leg kick that Bader tries to catch but can't. They throw simultaneous leg kicks and both fall then clinch as the round ends. We're scoring 10-9 in favor of Jardine in that round.
round 3- They touch gloves to begin the final round. Jardine has abandoned his lower stance for his traditionally unorthodox style. He sprawls out of another Bader shot and they land matching rights. A Jardine leg kick is checked by Bader then Bader gets a takedown but Jardine scrambles free immediately. Jardine scores another nice leg kick that's answered by a hard straight right by Bader. Jardine is hurt and Bader attacks with a flying knee to the chest then a left uppercut that sends Jardine down and out.
final result: Bader wins by knockout at 2:10 of round 3.
Joe Stevenson vs. George Sotiropoulos
round 1- They trade harmless jabs then Sotiropoulos lands a decent right and shoots for a single leg. Daddy fends it off for a bit but ends up on his back and pulls half guard. Sotiropoulos is high in Stevenson's guard but can't pass. Stevenson looks for a sweep and Sotiropoulos lands some shots then goes to his feet. Stevenson lands an upkick as Sotiropoulos gains side control then mount. He hasn't done any serious damage but he's dominating the ground game. 10-9 for the Aussie.
round 2- They touch gloves and start boxing. Stevenson throw an overhand right and Sotiropoulos hurts him with a right down the pipe. They continue to trade and Sotiropoulos seems to have an answer for everything Stevenson throws. Stevenson is active but missing so he shoots and takes Sotiropoulos to his back.
