butt.  Serra capitalizes by landing a few big punches but is unable to finish Hughes.  They clinch against the fence while Hughes recovers and they swap a few strikes on their feet before Hughes scores a big take down.  Hughes gets Serra's back but can't latch on a choke.  Serra escapes and the very close round ends.  We're scoring it for Serra but it's very close.

Round two:  The fighters trade punches then Hughes pushes Serra to the fence and gets another takedown from the clinch.  Serra's half guard is very effective and he's not taking much damage.  Hughes is landing some ground and pound strikes but not doing much damage.  Serra isn't able to get any kind of submission attempt either.  The action stalls and the referee stands them up for the last 10 seconds but Hughes wins the round 10-9.

Round three:  Serra is tentative with his striking, knowing he needs to avoid the takedown but Hughes shoots and gets him to the mat once again.  Serra locks on a triangle but is unable to apply any real pressure.  Hughes breaks free but can't get his hands free to launch a ground attack.  The referee stands them up and Serra scores a takedown of his own.  He lands a few big shots on Hughes but no real damage is done.  The round ends as Hughes is trying to escape and FiveKnuckles' score card has Hughes winning the round 10-9.

Final result: Matt Hughes wins the fight by unanimous decision.

Drew McFedries vs. Xavier Foupa-Pokam

Round one: After a few seconds of dancing McFedries lands a big left and a huge right, sending Foupa-Pokam to the floor.  McFedries lands a few complimentary shots as the referee stops the fight at :37 of round one.

Final result: Drew McFedries wins by TKO at :37 of the first round.

Dan Miller vs. Chael Sonnen

Round one: Sonnen goes for an early takedown but Miller takes his head and attempts a choke.  Sonnen gets his head out and lands a huge right from posture.  Miller pulls guard and Sonnen lands some solid ground and pound.  Miller goes for a leg lock but gives up side control and therefore more punches and elbows.  Sonnen is controlling the fight on the ground, landing steady blows and some are doing damage.  Miller is trying to find a submission but he can't get a hold of Sonnen.  The horn sounds and Sonnen wins the round 10-9 on our card.

Round two:  Similar to round one, a Sonnen take down turns into a Miller guillotine attempt.  Again Sonnen frees his head and unleashes some nice punches and elbows from Miller's guard.  Millers continues to try to fight from his back, almost securing an armbar.  Sonnen is maintaining control of ther fight but the action is slowing down.  The round ends with Sonnen in Miller's guard landing some punches.  We're scoring another 10-9 round for Sonnen.

Round three: Again Miller has no defense for Sonnen's takedown.  Sonnen lands big shots from Miller's full guard and butterfly guard.  Sonnen is in complete control of the fight.  He's unable to pass guard but Miller is unable to get anything going.  Round three ends the same way and scores the same way, Sonnen 10-9.

Final result: Chael Sonnen wins by unanimous decision.
