pulls guard.  Kongo posturing up, Hardonk has Kongo's right arm hooked but left is free and landing some fists and elbows, opening a cut over Hardonk's left eye.  Kongo stands and lands big hammerfists as the referee stops the fight.

Final result: Kongo by TKO at 2:29 of round 2.

 

Luis Cane vs. Steve Cantwell

Round one: The fighters traded blows standing up, Cane landing hard hands, a good high kick by Cantwell.  Cantwell averted a take down attempt by Cane but took 2 big shots as they broke.  Cane forcing the action, moving forward, Cantwell taking some hard shots but still throwing punches with a few high kick attempts blocked by Cane.  Cantwell is bleeding from the nose as the round ends.  Fiveknuckles' scorecard has Cane winning round 1, 10-9. 


Round two:  More of the same to start round 2.  Cantwell still taking shots but showing no signs of backing down.  Cane lands a few leg kicks but Cantwell is still firing, landing a few nice combinations then a body kick and huge right.  Cantwell with a hard kick to Cane's head.  Cantwell showing confidence, now he's the one pushing the pace.  Cane looking somewhat tentative after taking some punishment in round 2.  Cantwell lands one more left at the bell and evens the fight with a 10-9 in round 2 by our scorecard.


Round three:  Cane starts round 3 as the aggressor once again, and lands some big shots early.  Cantwell doesn't appear to be affected much, still throwing and moving forward at times.  Both fighters trading punches again but Cane's appear to be more damaging.  They both remain active, Cane landing s few knees to the body, Cantwell attempting more high kicks.  Cane's strikes still seem to be more affective.  Fiveknuckles scores the round 10-9 in favor of Cane for the decision win.

Final result: Cane by unanimous decision

 

Brian Stann vs. Krzysztof Soszynski

Round one:  Soszynski appears to be looking for an early takedown as Stann throws jabs moving forward.  They clinch and trade shots then Stann lands good right as they break.  Soszynski gets the takedown and goes to full mount.  Stann showing good defense as he goes for a leg lock.  Soszynski moves to side control but does no damage.  Stann gets to his feet but gets taken down immediately again, Soszynski locks up a kimura armbar and ends the fight.

Final result: Soszynski wins by submission (kimura) at 3:53 of round 1
