Edgar is landing some flurries and leg kicks.  He knocks Sherk to the mat and attempts a choke but Sherk breaks free and gets it back to the feet. More exchanges end the round with the advantage to Edgar who wins the round on fiveknuckles card, 10-9.

Round two: They're standing and exchanging again, the action is steady.  Edgar lands a big knee to the the body that sends Sherk down but he recovered and got right back to his feet.  Edgar's boxing looks great, he's moving side to side and hard to hit while landing nice combinations.  The round ends standing and FiveKnuckles scores another 10-9 round in favor of Frankie Edgar.

Round three: Sherk is pressing the action early and takes Edgar down but Edgar escapes quickly and lands a flurry.  Sherk has some blood over his left eye as Edgar continues to land quick strikes and moving quickly, forcing Sherk to swing and miss often.  The fight ends in much the same manner and Edgar takes another 10-9 to win the fight.

Final result: Frankie Edgar wins the fight by unanimous decision.
