down.  Kos takes time to recover while Yamasaki takes a point from Johnson.  The fight continues and Koscheck throws some fast hands but finds only air.  Rumble lands a combo then Kos takes him down and gets his back.  He lands some knees to the body then attempts a choke before the round ends.  With the point deduction, we're scoring it a 10-8 for Koscheck.

Round 2: The round opens with an eye poke by Koscheck.  Rumble recovers quickly and as the fight resumes, he takes another eye poke, this one worse than the first.  They continue again and start to slug it out.  A great exchange in the center of the cage leads to a Koscheck takedown.  He lands some elbows from the half guard of Johnson.  Rumble is trying to tie up the arms of Kos but Kos breaks free and lands more elbows.  Rumble is taking some abuse so he rolls and gives up his back.  Koscheck locks in a rear naked choke and Rumble taps just before he enters dreamland.

Final result: Koscheck wins by submission (choke) at 4:47 of round 2

Tito Ortiz vs. Forrest Griffin:

Round 1: Griffin lands a 2 punch combo early as the crowd chants "Forrest, Forrest".  Ortiz lands a leg kick and Griffin throws a right down the middle.  Ortiz shoots and takes Griffin down where a beating begins from Griffin's guard.  Tito does some damage with punches and elbows but Forrest scrambles  and gets to his feet.  The exchanges are pretty even then Forrest gets an advantage.  Ortiz goes for another takedown but Griffin averts it.  Griffin is landing leg kicks then following up with combinations.  The takedown and ground and pound by Ortiz gives him the round on our card, 10-9.

Round 2:  Ortiz throws a right hand bomb to open the round but misses but he then lands a nice left hook.  Griffin responds with a nice leg kick but gets taken down again immediately after.  Ortiz is scoring from the guard but Griffin scrambles to his feet as Ortiz tries to pass guard.  Forrest lands a front kick to the face then a few nice combos.  Ortiz takes him down again, landing in the butterfly guard of Griffin.  Griffin ties him up from his back and is looking for submissions but Ortiz is landing elbows and punches that open a big cut on Griffin's eye.  Griffin gets a sweep and lands some shots from the top as the round ends.  Too little too late as Ortiz takes the round 10-9.

Round 3: They come out swinging with Griffin getting the edge in the standup once again.  The "Forrest" chants start again as he scores with combinations but doesn't seem to be hurting Ortiz.  Griffin lands a nice right to the head, then a body punch and leg kick.  Ortiz seems to be conserving energy but then goes for a shot but Griffin stuffs it.  Griffin continues to score in the standup then lands a big head kick, clearly controlling the round.  Ortiz answers with a left but Forrest comes right back with a nice combo and a leg kick.  Ortiz' takedown attempt is stuffed by Griffin again.  Griffin dominates the round and takes it 10-9.

Final result: Griffin wins by split decision
