like the WEC colors better. The size? For sure, the UFC. I would love to fight in a bigger cage. I'm a striker, so I like having a lot of space. FiveKnuckles.com: How long have you been fighting for?
Anthony Pettis: I'm been training in martial arts since I was five. I started with Taekwon-Do and boxing as a little kid. I just recently started doing jiu-jitsu. Well, now it's been a while - probably two and a half years or three years now. I had my first fight on my 19th birthday. So I've been fighting for four years now.
FiveKnuckles.com: And what do you do to celebrate a win?
Anthony Pettis: The last couple times, besides this last fight, I went to the hospital after my fights. I have trouble with injuries, they just keep popping up. Well, you know, it's a physical sport, so they're gonna happen. If I wasn't injured, I'd probably be exhausted all day. I'd try to be a normal 23-year-old.
FiveKnuckles.com: But you're enjoying training? You're enjoying the camp?
Anthony Pettis: I wouldn't wanna do anything else. I mean, if I could be a doctor or a lawyer or anything - I wouldn't. I wouldn't change it for anything. Yeah, I love this.
FiveKnuckles.com: So then you're going to go into your next fight with a lot of confidence.
Anthony Pettis: Yeah. I didn't lose any confidence with the last fight. I think I'm gaining confidence. I knew where I'm supposed to be at. I'm getting to where I'm supposed to be at.
