Rosenthal before the horn sounds. That secures the round, 10-9, and the victory for Silva on fiveknuckles' card.

final result: Silva wins by unanimous decision.

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Cain Velasquez

round 1- Velasquez lands a leg kick then a good left hand. Another very good leg kick then a strong combo by Velasquez. He lands another leg kick then misses with a high kick. He clinches and lands a knee to Nog's body. Velasquez lands a left to the jaw then a right to the chin that hurts Nogueira badly. He catches another left on his way down then several more while on his back. Herb Dean steps in and saves the legend from further damage.

 |  (51) Comments JujitsWho: This coverage sucks man! Are they just standing in the ring staring at each other or something? GO HARD: thanks for the play by play... i couldnt afford the money to buy this one doesnt sound like a good fight.... arlovskiviako: Dude doesn't want anything to do with Cro Cop standing. Mickey knox: Great night of fights. Wandy looked great. That was actually better than a first round KO because he showed everyone that Bisping wasn't gonna be able to weather the storm, the storm lasted three rounds. I picked Nog to win, but Velasquez is good. He probably got KO of the night and Wanderlei got fight of the night. I got 7 out of 9, only losing Nog and Foster as far as I know. Australia got a kick ass first show. D_V: no way sotiropoulos won 30-27, Mike. No way. Mickey knox: George may not have exactly dominated the fight, but he did better than Joe in nearly every area of the game, and even when Joe was in a better position, Sotiropilous was exploiting those positions better than Joe was. I don't think 'better' positions can come too much into play in the points game when a fighter doesn't manage to do anything with them, and his opponent is still out-pointing him. I think the decision could have been closer than that, but George of Notre Dame definitely won. MAStudent: In Franklin's termniology, Joe was "searching" the whole fight. He couldn't find a single hole, and had no idea how to progress, vs. George who was non-stop offense. When Joe finally found himself on top in control in the last round....he rested. Instaed of saying "finally! here I go", he was more like "Whew! shit. OK, now what can I do...oops, lost it" So when does The Hunchback of Snuffalafagus get into the title discussion? I thought that was an awesome performance at 155 on a guy that just beat Nate Diaz and Fisher. D_V: You people are all nuts. Title discussion for Quasimodo. That's laughable. one decent win, on home turf, against a guy that isn't a title contender anymore. George would get owned by Maynard, Edgar, Penn,Florian, gomi, Sanchez(even though he left 155), Etim, Griffin, shit even Pellegrino would kick his ass, Miller would kill him. Georges has one and a half dimensions. average striking and great bjj. With no wrestling to get it to the ground an average striker can't beat any of these guys. mike5k: I was a little hasty in saying that George is entering the title discussion except for there are people all over talking about him in the title discussion so I guess he's in the discussion. Seriously though, I agree that he needs at least 2 more quality wins and probably more.
