new every other week. I'm impressed every time they bring in some new blood because I'm a fan of this division and I already know these guys are tough as hell. They got Chad Mendez in there, they got this [Eric] Koch kid in there. They got Brandon Visher, the kid from Hawaii who had a nice knockout at the last event. They're bringing in some tough fighters to back up Brown and Faber and the rest of the guys who are at the top or maybe getting a little older. There are a lot of fighters gunning for a chance so it's going to be a crazy year. Interesting too so stay tuned.
FiveKnuckles.com: Finally, your upcoming opponent has some big time experience in this division. What can you tell me about Deividas Taurosevicius?
Mackens Semerzier: Deividas is a super tough guy, another IFL guy. He challenged Ryan Shultz for the title when that organization was still around. He fought Shultz very tough in that fight. He's a fighter that likes to scrap and he's not a pushover. He's 11-3 and all three losses were on the end of hard fought decisions. He took his first WEC fight on short notice. That shows his heart, his intensity, and his mindset. He doesn't care what the other guy has, he's down to scrap. He's yet to be knocked out or submitted. I plan to stop the fight early and I want to be the first guy to submit him or knock him out. I'm definitely not looking for a decision, but if we have to go that far, that'll be fine. If we have to fight to the 59th second of the 4th minute in the last round, I'm up for it.
Deividas is super tough and he's a nice guy too. I saw him at the fighter summit; he didn't look at me all funny and stuff so he's cool under pressure. I don't have any problems with him. Expect this to be a good fight. Stay tuned. What I have planned this time is going to be a lot different than what happened in my last fight. It's going to be exciting and I can't wait. Be prepared to be entertained. I want to tell people that for sure.
*Mack "da Menace" would like to thank all of his sponsors that jumped on board for his last fight and hopes they come along for the ride this time around. Those sponsors include TRX, MMA Warehouse, Hayabusa, MusclePharm, and especially Dethroned. Dethroned hooked him up big time last fight and he loves showing off their stuff. He would also like to thank all of his training partners. There's too many to mention, but they all care and have helped him greatly. Lastly, and most importantly, a big thank you to Team Menace, everybody down in Virginia Beach, and FiveKnuckles.com for the interview. Now everybody read up.
