Adrenaline MMA's fourth event is officially set as Monte Cox's promotion released the full 13-bout card today for the show. Adrenaline MMA IV will take place on Sept. 13 from the Mid-American Center in Council Bluffs, IA, and the card airs live on HDNet.

The event will be headlined by a heavyweight bout between former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia and rising prospect Jason Riley.

Sylvia has lost four of his last five bouts including losses to Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Fedor Emelianenko, and most recently against former boxing champ Ray Mercer at Adrenaline MMA 3 in June. Riley is currently riding a two-fight winning streak, with his most recent win coming in April against Justin Black.

In the co-main event, popular UFC light-heavyweight Houston Alexander will take on fellow 205-er Sherman Pendergarst.

Alexander got permission to take this bout from the UFC as he is still under contract with the promotion. Alexander is in a must-win situation as he has lost three straight fights against the likes of Thiago Silva, James Irvin and most recently Eric Schafer at UFN 15 last Sept. Pendergarst isn't doing too well either, as he has lost five in a row, which includes defeats from UFC veteran Tim Hague, Abe Wagner and in his last loss to Joey Beltran at Bellator 4 in May.

In other notable bouts, a pair of UFC veterans Forrest Petz and Chad Reiner will meet in a welterweight contest and former UFC fighter Joe Vedepo will take on Webster Farris. Also in action, Bellator veteran Alonzo Martinez will face Ryan Williams and Extreme challenge veteran Jeremy Lang will take on Matt Delanoit.
