Alessio Sakara (15-8 1 NC) and Jorge Rivera (19-8) are set to face off at UFC 133, according to UFC.com.
It is currently the only fight rumored for UFC 133 which takes place August 6 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Sakara and Rivera have already been matched up twice before, but neither fight materialized. The two hard hitting middleweights were originally slated to face off at UFC 118. However, Rivera was forced off of the card with an injury.
The two were then booked to fight at UFC 122 in Germany, but Sakara was forced to bow out on the day of the event with food poisoning that had him vomiting backstage.
Sakara is coming off of a unanimous decision loss to Chris Weidman at UFC on Versus 3. It was Sakara's first action in almost a year. Prior to the layoff, he had amassed three straight impressive victories inside the Octagon.
Rivera will be fighting for the first time since his TKO loss to Michael Bisping that was marred in scandal and controversy. Rivera made a hard media push for the fight by creating viral videos mocking Bisping. The Brit didn't take kindly to the sentiments as the two got up close and personal at the weigh ins. Come fight night Bisping hit Rivera with an illegal knee before taking home the victory.
