Alex Caceres set to fight Leonard Garcia at UFC on Versus 5
by Hubert Lau on May 25, 2011

Alex Caceres, otherwise known as Bruce Leroy, will duke it out with Leonard Garcia at UFC on Versus 5 according to UFC.com.

Caceres was featured in the Ultimate Fighter season 12 and made his way to the quarterfinals before being eliminated by the season's runner-up, Michael Johnson. Caceres holds a 4-3 record, coming off of a submission lost to Mackens Semerzier at UFC Fight Night: Nogueira vs. Davis.

Unlike Caceres who made his name on the Ultimate Fighter, Garcia became known for his numerous wild brawls that has earned him three Fight of The Night awards. Most recently Garcia lost to Chan Sung Jung via twister choke, the first in UFC history, after defeating the Korean Top Team product in a controversial decision in mid 2010.

A lot is on the line for both men, but more so for Caceres as a two fight losing streak for a newcomer in the UFC usually means the walking papers.

UFC on Versus 5 will also feature Jim Miller squaring off against the former WEC lightweight champion, Ben Henderson. Welterweights Amir Sadollah and Duane Ludwig will battle. The American Psycho, Stephan Bonnar, will fight Karlos Vemola.
