The card for the UFC's maiden event in Boston is starting to take shape with the addition of two more fights to the card.
Brits Andre Winner and Nick Osipczak have both been given opponents for the preliminary card in Boston. Both fighters appeared on TUF 9; Winner reaching the final of the lightweight tournament, whilst Osipczak lost in the semi-finals to eventual runner up DeMarcus Johnson.
Winner (11-3) will be matched with Nik Lentz and will be looking to make it three straight since that defeat in the finale of the show. The 28-year-old has defeated Roli Delgado and more recently Rafaello Oliviera at UFC Fight Night 21.
Lentz (18-3) also holds a victory over Oliviera in his UFC debut at UFC 103. Since then he has fought twice, fighting to a majority draw against Thiago Tavares at UFC Fight Night 20 before earning a decision over Rob Emerson at UFC Fight Night 21.
Welterweight Osipczak (4-1) is coming off of a close decision defeat to Rick "The Horror" Story at UFC 112, before that "Slick" had defeated Frank Lestor and Matthew Riddle.
It was the same Matt Riddle that handed Osipczak's prospective opponent, Greg Soto, his first defeat in his Octagon debut at UFC 111, albeit by disqualification.
Soto, 7-1, went seven fights unbeaten before that loss, and he will look to get back on track against the well rounded Brit.
UFC 118 is set to take place at Boston's TD Garden and could be headlined by a lightweight title rematch between BJ Penn and champion Frankie Edgar.
