"I definitely want to fight GSP again. I'm biased and I have confidence in myself and I don't think the fight would go anything like that if we fought again.
"I've got to defend the lightweight title and take on all challenges that make me better, but if I get a chance to fight GSP again - even if it was a non-title fight - I'd jump at the opportunity." - B.J. Penn
Current UFC lightweight champion, B.J. Penn, spoke with The Sun about wanting to fight current UFC welterweight champion, Georges St. Pierre, for a third time.
Their past two bouts have both seen St. Pierre the victor. Their first fight was at UFC 58 in March 2006, where St. Pierre won by split decision. Penn did not believe that the judge's decision was correct. He was granted a second fight with St. Pierre at UFC 104 on Jan. 31, 2009, which was a title fight - and very highly-anticipated by fans. The bout ended via TKO after Penn's corner stopped the fight after the fourth round. Penn appeared to be tired and wounded from St. Pierre's grappling, jiu-jitsu, and ground and pound.
However, before Penn (14-5-1) fights anyone else, he will face Diego Sanchez (21-2) in a lightweight title fight at UFC 107 on Dec. 12. Penn said that he has high-quality training coaches and has worked out a good regime.
"It's going to be a great fight," he said. "And it has the capability of being one of my biggest tests at 155 lbs."
