A fired-up BJ Penn wants a rematch with Nick Diaz according to his twitter account.

What was that coward fence holding strategy to tire out the smaller man? Street fighter my a**! I made you fight like glass jaw @jonfitchdotnet poser! I'll be ready for that weak bs next time we fight!" Penn said.

A rather surprising tweet from Penn who has been quiet in the MMA scene since he unanimous decision loss to Diaz at UFC 137. In fact, Penn hinted at retirement immediately after the fight.

"Joe, it's probably the last time you are ever going to see me in here...I got a daughter, another daughter on the way. I don't want to go home looking like this, I'm done," Penn said to Joe Rogan in the post fight interview.

With some time off to reflect, Penn is apparently not finished just yet and wants a rematch with the Stockton native some time in the future. Diaz is currently set to face Carlos Condit at UFC 143 for the UFC's interim welterweight title.

Penn is widely regarded as one of the best who ever competed in MMA, a three time defending UFC lightweight champion. During his reign from early 2008 to late 2009, his wins over Joe Stevenson, Kenny Florian and Diego Sanchez were masterful performances. However Penn hasn't looked the same as of late, sporting a 1-3-1 record in his last five fights.

If "The Prodigy" is seriously considering a rematch with Diaz, he would need to return to the form he was as UFC lightweight champion.
