Tom Atencio sat down with our good friends over at MMANews to discuss a variety of issues. During the video interview Atencio confirms a match up between Ben Rothwell and Pedro Rizzo.
The match up makes sense as both men are coming off of losses in their Affliction debuts to Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett respectively.
Rothwell (29-6) is coming off of a KO loss to Arlovski who is considered among the best heavyweight fighters in the world.
Rizzo (16-8) actually holds a win over Arlovski but was unable to stave off an early second round KO at the hands of Barnett.
Arlovski and Barnett are also scheduled to face one another at the event, with the winner earning a shot at WAMMA Heavyweight Champion Fedor Emelianenko.
