Former Pride Fighting Championship notables Ricardo Arona, Paulo Filho, and Murilo "Ninja" Rua as well as longtime UFC veteran Pedro Rizzo were the big winners coming out of Saturday's Bitetti Combat 4 event.

The event took place this past Saturday, Sept. 12, from the Ginásio do Maracanãzinho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

In the main event, Ricardo Arona picked up his first win in three years by defeating UFC veteran Marvin Eastman via unanimous decision. Eastman seemed overwhelmed by Arona who looked strong in the first round, firing leg kicks early, even putting him down with one low kick. But, Arona seemed to slow down in the final two rounds, though he still managed to negated Eastman with his takedowns and an effective ground game. With the win, Arona's overall MMA record moves to 14-5 and Eastman has now lost three of his last four bouts.

In the co-main event, former WEC middleweight champion Paulo Filho defeated TUF 1 cast member and IFL veteran Alex Schoenauer by unanimous decision. The win moves Filho's MMA record to an impressive 18-1 and serves as his second straight win since suffering his first career loss against Chael Sonnen at WEC 36 back in November of 2008. The loss was Schoenauer's third in his last four bouts and dropped his record to 14-10.

Also in action, Pedro Rizzo snapped a two fight losing streak by defeating Jeff Monson via unanimous decision. Rizzo previously defeated Monson at Art of War 3 in September of 2007. Rizzo now sports a 17-9 record and the loss snapped Monson's seven fight win steak, which dated back to September 2008. Monson's MMA record falls to 31-9.

In other notable bouts, Murilo "Ninja" Rua took out WEC and Pride vet Alex Stiebling via first-round knockout. Rua connected on a solid head kick and then followed with a barrage of brutal punches. DEEP veteran Milton "Miltinho" Viera defeated Luciano Azavedo and WEC veteran Glover Texeira scored a first-round submission win over Leonardo Nascimento.
