Bob Sapp will fight Sokoudjou.html'>Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou in the semifinals of Dream's Super Hulk Tournament at Dream 11 on Oct. 6. Sapp, who will be filling in for the injured Gegard Mousasi, confirmed the fight to MMAWeekly yesterday.
He will begin training today in California with Antonio McKee.
"Sokoudjou's a great fight," Sapp said. "Without question, he's ready to go. He's kind of on his winning (ways), while I'm on the opposite end, on a losing streak. So I definitely would like to push forward and rebound back."
The winner of Sapp vs. Sokoudjou will go on to face the winner of Minowa vs. Choi at Dynamite! on Dec. 31.
Sapp (10-5-1 MMA), who started out as a football player, fought for organizations such as PRIDE, K-1, Cage Rage and Strikeforce. He lost his last fight, in June, to Bobby Lashley at Ultimate Chaos.
