Brock Lesnar and Dana White to hold press conference next week
by Natalia Baage on January 14, 2010

UFC President Dana White has confirmed that he and Brock Lesnar will hold a joint press conference on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week to talk about the heavyweight champion's future.

News of the upcoming press conference came via MMAFighting.com.

Last week, news was supposed to come about Lesnar's health, but not much was said. There reportedly should have been word about whether or not Lesnar will ever fight again, and, a rough expected return date. However, the media did not officially receive any definitive answers.

Now, at next week's press conference, the media will more than likely be pushing for some conclusive answers.

"I don't know if it's good news or bad news," White said about the news he will offer at the press conference. "It's just... it's news."

White had offered a "no comment," while two of Lesnar's trainers stated that he will fight again. When White was asked about Lesnar's return to the sport, he was not as confident as the champion's camp.

"I hope so," said White. "I certainly hope so."
