The UFC's August events are starting to fill up fast, as a middleweight contest between Wilson Gouveia and Chael Sonnen is set for UFC 102. Both fighters are looking to rebound from recent losses suffered inside the octagon.
UFC 102 is tentatively scheduled for August 29th and the event is being rumored to take place in Portland, Oregon.
Gouveia suffered a loss to Nate Marquardt at February's UFC 95. Prior to the UFC 95 loss, he was 2-0 since dropping down from light-heavyweight.
Chael Sonnen also lost at UFC 95 as he suffered a first round submission loss to BJJ sensation Demian Maia and is now 7-3 in his last 10 fights. Sonnen returned to the UFC after going 2-2 with the WEC, who dissolved their middleweight division in the closing months of 2008.
