Chuck Liddell will make his debut on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" tonight at 8 p.m. eastern/7 p.m. central.
After Liddell's semi-retirement from MMA, he agreed to take part in the newest season of the hit TV show. Liddell and his partner, Anna Trebunskaya, have been practicing for weeks, and Trebunskaya has remarked that Liddell has been improving.
Their first dance will be the foxtrot. According to Trebunskaya in practice, the foxtrot is good for them because Liddell has very flexible Achilles tendons, which is helpful for the dance. This will be Trebunskaya's fourth season appearing on "Dancing with the Stars."
UFC President Dana White wished Liddell luck, and will be in the live audience to cheer him on.
The other contestants on the show this season include: Aaron Carter, Ashley Hamilton, Debi Mazar, Donny Osmond, Joanna Krupa, Kathy Ireland, Kelly Osbourne, Louie Vito, Macy Gray, Mark Dacascos, Melissa Hart, Michael Irvin, Michael Irvin, Mya, Natalie Coughlin and Tom Delay.
To vote for Liddell and Trebunskaya, call 1-800-868-3402 between 8 p.m. and midnight.
