Ultimate Fighter season 5 alum, Cole Miller, drops to featherweight to fight Steven Siler UFC on FX 2 according to mmajunkie.com.
It would seem that the 6'1 Miller (18-5) would become more Magrinho-er when he faces Siler at the UFC's second outing on FX. Miller last fought TJ O'Brien at UFC Live: Hardy vs. Lytle, submitting him in the second round via guillotine choke. Miller is 3-1 over his last four fights and holds a win over fellow TUF veteran and season nine winner, Ross Pearson, in that span.
Siler (19-9) made a successful UFC debut when he defeated Josh Clopton at The Ultimate Fighter 14 finale via unanimous decision. Siler, a member of the TUF 14 cast, failed to make the semi-final round when he was KO'ed by eventual season winner, Diego Brandao. It is also interesting to note that Siler defeated Micah Miller, Cole Miller's younger brother, via third round submission to win his way onto the show. Siler is 5-1 over six fights.
Matchup wise, both men have shown their proficiency on the ground; 13 submissions and 12 submissions for Miller and Siler respectively. Miller does hold a noticeable edge in experience having fought in 10 UFC bouts which includes a come-from-behind submission win against Jorge Gurgel at UFC 86 which also won him Submission of the Night.
UFC on FX 2 is scheduled for March 3, 2012 at the Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia.
