Strikeforce has recently unveiled the full fight card for their second challengers series event set to take place on June 19 at the ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington. The event will be televised on Showtime.

In the main event, Strikeforce middleweight contenders Joey Villasenor and Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos will battle it out to climb closer to a middleweight title shot. The longtime KOTC veteran, Villasenor, is currently riding a three fight win streak, with his most recent win coming over Phil Baroni at last May's EliteXC: "Primetime."

Pride and Cage Rage veteran, Santos, is 1-3 in his last four fights and he hasn't fought since losing to Siyar Bahadurzada at Sengoku Fifth Battle.

In the co-main event, highly regarded welterweight Nick Thompson will take on Tim Kennedy. Thompson is currently 14-1 in his last 15 fight and he's coming off an impressive win over Muay Thai specialist Paul Daley at MFC 20 in February. Kennedy hasn't fought since beating Elias Rivera at the IFL World Grand Prix Finals in December of 2007. Kennedy is an Army Ranger and needed time off from MMA to fullfil an oversee's tour of duty. He sports an impressive 9-2 MMA record with wins over Jason Miller, Dante Rivera and Ryan McGivern.

Other notable matchups on the card include UFC veteran Jorge Gurgel taking on Conor Heun in a lightweight bout, Matt Hughes' conqueror Dennis Hallman battling MMA veteran Cedric Marks, and in the evening's lone female bout, Sarah Kaufman will look to stay unbeaten as she battles Shayna Baszler. Middleweight Prospect Cory Devela looks to rebound off a loss to Terry Martin against Luke Rockhold and UFC veteran Duane Ludwig will fight undefeated EliteXC veteran Lyle Beerbohm as well.
