Bantamweights Damacio Page and Akitoshi Tamura will look build off of recent wins in the WEC when they meet at WEC 43, according to MMA FanHouse.

Page (11-4) is coming off a devastating knockout victory over Marcos Galvao at WEC 39 upping his WEC record to 2-1. He lost to Brian Bowles at WEC 35 before that and defeated Scott Jorgensen in his WEC debut at WEC 32. Page trains out of Jackson's Submission Fighting in New Mexico and holds 6 wins via TKO or KO and 4 by submission.

Longtime Shooto veteran, Tamura, notched his first WEC win in his last outing against former bantamweight title contender Manny Tapia at WEC 40 in April. Prior to that win, he was defeated in his WEC debut by Wagnney Fabiano at WEC 37 back in December. The eight-year veteran of the sport holds a 14-7-2 record, with a notable win over Shooto legend Rumina Sato.

WEC 43 takes place on September 2 at the Covelli Center in Youngstown, Ohio, and the main card airs on Versus. The event will be headlined by an WEC interim lightweight title bout between Donald Cerrone and Ben Henderson.
