Dana White Talks WEC Restructuring, Jesse Taylor, And The Next Anderson Silva
by Paulo Silva on July 02, 2008

Dana White recently sat down with Kevin Iole to discuss a variety of issues.

Among the nuggets he bestowed upon Iole:

"I’ve faced a lot of challenges since we’ve had the UFC, but I have a kid (Jesse Taylor) who pissed his pants on television and now I have to turn him into a star."

White also told Iole that he's found the next Anderson Silva at lightweight:

"I was going off when I saw this guy,” White said. “He’s 24 and he’s destroying people. It’s sick how bad ass he is. I’m getting goose bumps talking to you about him."

White went on to mention the possibility of moving the WEC's middleweight and light heavyweight divisions over to the UFC, leaving the welterweight division as the heaviest division and focusing on the lighter weights for the WEC.
