Dave Herman would like to retire Big Nog at UFC 153
by Alfredo Reyes on October 10, 2012

Current UFC heavyweight, Dave Herman, plans on making a big statement at UFC 153 against the Brazilian legend Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

The fight is scheduled for this upcoming Saturday night at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Herman has been openly mocking jiu-jitsu, but at today's open media workouts Herman playfully took it a step further by saying he would like to retire Nogueira from mixed martial arts after UFC 153, and will look to submit the BJJ legend in the second round.

Herman, who is coming off back-to-back devastating knockout losses to Stefan Struve and Roy Nelson switched camps to train with Team Quest for his upcoming must win bout with Nogueira. At Team Quest Herman is now training alongside UFC light-heavyweight Dan Henderson, and recieving instruction from a former striking coach of Nogueira's and current UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.
