UFC lightweight, Dennis Siver, is looking to move to the featherweight division according to mmafighting.com.
Siver's last bout was a rear naked choke defeat to Donald Cerrone at UFC 137, which also put an end to a four fight win streak.
Siver first debuted with the UFC at UFC 70 and in the following four fights with the promotion went 1-3. However Siver found new life when he was resigned on UFC 93, going 7-2 in his following fights. Siver was even considered as a potential contender at 155lb before his loss to Cerrone.
Siver would join many other lightweights, Charles Oliveira, Tyson Griffin, Kenny Florian, etc., that have made the transition to the lower weight class. Siver holds victories over Matt Wiman, George Sotiropoulos, Spencer Fisher and a highlight reel spinning back kick TKO over Paul Kelly.
No word on who Siver would fight in his featherweight debut.
