Din Thomas Inks Three-Fight Deal With Affliction
by Jason Benfari on February 28, 2009

Former UFC lightweight top contender Din Thomas has inked a three-fight contract with Affliction. The news comes courtesy of Five Ounces of Pain. Perspective opponents have yet to be discussed, but it has been confirmed that Thomas will compete for the promotion as a featherweight.

Thomas, (23-8), brings an impressive resume along with him holding big wins over the likes of Jens Pulver, Rich Clementi, Clay Guida and Matt Serra.

The TUF 4 alum was released from his UFC contract nearly a year ago after dropping consecutive contests to Kenny Florian and Josh Neer respectively. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt promptly announced his desire to drop ten pounds and compete at featherweight where he debuted earlier this month earning a first round submission victory over Dustin Pieken.
