Veteran UFC fighter Din Thomas, who blew out his knee last Wednesday in a fight with Kenny Florian, says he wants to heal his knee and then seek a rematch with Florian, this according to Dean Albrecht (Thomas' manager) via mmajunkie.com.
According to Albrecht, "(Thomas) wants a rematch when he’s healthy," Albrecht said. "He thinks Florian deserves one."
No timetable has been set for Thomas' recovery or the next Florian fight. Speculation is that the ever busy Florian, who has fought three times in the past five months will take some extended time off.
