Donald Cerrone likely to return at WEC 41 against Richard Crunkilton
by Jacob Camargo on April 05, 2009

A lightweight bout between Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone and Richard "Cleat" Crunkilton will  take place at WEC 41 on June 7th in Sacramento, California. WEC 41 features a rematch between current WEC featherweight champion  Mike Brown and former champ Urijah Faber.

Cerrone is coming off the first loss of his career to current WEC lightweight champion Jamie Varner at January's WEC 38.

Meanwhile, Crunkilton hasn't fought since defeating Sergio Gomez at WEC 33 in March of 2008. Crunkilton was suppose to fight  Cerrone in June of last year but he withdrew from the bout due to an injury, and then he backed out of a  fight against Bart Palaszewski at last month's WEC 39 also due to an injury.
