Donald Cerrone plays mind games with Nate Diaz at UFC 141 open workout
by Hubert Lau on December 28, 2011

Donald Cerrone said he played some mind games with Nate Diaz at UFC open workout according to mmaweekly.com.

Cerrone and Diaz are set to scrap at the upcoming UFC 141 and the matchup is pivotal for Cerrone. A win over Diaz would be seventh in a row for "The Cowboy" who would also stay undefeated on the year.

A title shot for Cerrone has already been considered in the past and a win over one of the UFC's stables in Diaz only legitimizes his claim towards contention. As such, Cerrone is doing all he can to gain an upper hand.

Fast forward to the 1:05 mark for Cerrone's comments on Diaz.

 |  (16) Comments mike5k: Interesting interview. He said he doesn't really know what those guys (the Diaz brothers) do besides smoke weed - great stuff. Then he said he's going to make Diaz look dumb, like he doesn't belong in the cage with him- "you wanna talk sh** and piss me off, then lets' f*****g go Bi**h" War Cowboy. Jambi: I Love it! this is going to be an intense fight with two guys that are very, very hard to finish and who are exciting as hell. this will be my main event. SicJits: great fight!!! the stare down today was great! I'd expect nothing less from Natey.....but i still got Natey in this fight. His chin will be too much for Cowboys best weapon....striking. 3rd round sub for Diaz when Cowboy gets frustrated he's hitting Natey and he's liking it  GO HARD: There is no playing mind games when fighting a Diaz. because a Diaz doesnt allow that. Once they are given a fight... they act the same way pretty much toward their opponent. and then give them respect after... but im thinking this fight is a little more personal than others. WAR DIAZ Wandering_Minstrel: Nate is gonna get beat up.
