Donald Cerrone will step in for an injured John Makdessi and will fight Paul Taylor at UFC on Versus 5 according to ufc.com. The Ultimate Fighter season 13 winner, Tony Ferguson, drops down to lightweight and will fight Aaron Riley at UFC 135 according to ufc.com.

"The Cowboy" is now slated to fight Taylor at UFC on Versus 5 after Makdessi pulled out of the bout due to an injury. Cerrone (15-3) has been on a hot streak as of late, winning his last four bouts including a dominant victory over Vagner Rocha at UFC 131.

Taylor (11-6-1) will look to notch up another win after knocking out Gabe Ruediger via head kick at UFC 126. The battling brit is 4-5 within the UFC.

At UFC 135 Ferguson will make his UFC lightweight debut against the UFC veteran, Riley.

Ferguson's most recent bout was at the Ultimate Fighter Finale where he knocked out fellow TUF member, Ramsey Nijem, in the first round which won him the tournament.

"Ultimate Fighter winner Tony 'El Cucuy' Ferguson has verbally agreed to drop down to the lightweight division to take on relentless veteran Aaron Riley September 24 in Denver, Colorado," UFC President, Dana White, said.

Ferguson (11-2) is on a four fight win streak and will be making his lightweight debut in the UFC after having competed in the welterweight division in his run on The Ultimate Fighter.

Opposing "El Cucuy" is Riley (30-12-1). Since Riley's UFC debut at UFC 91, he posted a record of 3-2 and is unable to string any wins together but is coming off of a unanimous decision victory over Joe Brammer at UFC 114.

UFC on Versus 5 will be held on August 15 at Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The main card includes the headline between "The Outlaw", Dan Hardy, fighting Chris Lytle. Jim Miller and Ben Henderson will battle in a lightweight tilt. The Ultimate Fighter season 8 winner, Amir Sadollah, to fight Duane Ludwig.

UFC 135 on September 24 at Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, will be headlined by the light heavyweight title bout between Jon Jones defending against Quinton Jackson.
