Today, HDNet Fights CEO Andrew Simon announced that Dream.9's "Super Hulk" tournament will air live on HDNet May 26. Dream holds events in Japan and are relatively shut off from mainstream US media. HDNet has given American fans a chance to catch the fights via tape delay, but have made a deal to offer US fans the chance to catch this card live. The deal is likely precipitated by that the fact that former MLB all-star and steroid whistle blower, Jose Canseco, will be making his MMA debut on the card. He'll be taking on seven-footer Choi Hong Man as part of Dream's Super Hulk tournament.
Other interesting names slated to take part in the tournament include Gegard Mousasi, Mark Hunt, Bob Sapp, and Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou among others. Dream.9 is also slated to feature the return of pound-for-pound great Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto as he steps into the second round of Dreams featherweight tournament against Joe Warren. Popular "Bully Beatdown" host, Jason Miller "Mayhem" will take on Brazilian jui jitsu wizard, Ronaldo Jacare in a non-tournament match up.
