Duane "Bang" Ludwig out of UFC Fight Night 24, James Wilks to face Amir Sadollah
by Tim Groves on March 05, 2011

Duane "Bang" Ludwig has been forced out of his main card slot against Amir Sadollah at UFC Fight Night 24, according to MMAJunkie.com.

The Brit James Wilks has agreed to step in for the Ludwig, who injured his sternum.

Sadollah will look to string two wins together after he dismantled Peter Sobotta for three rounds at UFC 122. The Ultimate Fighter Season 7 winner has accumulated a 4-2 record inside the Octagon. Sadollah is a very technical muay thai striker, who lacks knockout power. A stoppage win over Wilks would look very good on the young Sadollah's record.

The Ultimate Fighter Season 9 winner, Wilks, hopes to get back in the win column after a disappointing loss to Claude Patrick at UFC 120. Prior to the setback, Wilks had posted a 2-1 record during his UFC career.

UFC Fight Night 24 is scheduled for March 26th in Seattle, Washington. Light heavyweights Phil Davis and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will headline the event.
