Frank Gomez vs. Seth Dikun added to WEC 44

Bantamweights Frank Gomez and Seth Dikun will look to build off their first wins in the WEC when they face each other at WEC 44 in November. News of the bout comes via MMAjunkie.com.

Gomez (7-1) put an end to TUF 5 cast member Noah Thomas' seven fight steak by second-round submission at WEC 41 in June. Prior to the win, he was defeated in his WEC debut by Scott Jorgensen at WEC 38 in January. Gomez had won the first six bouts of his career prior to suffering his first career loss at WEC 38. Also of note, he has finished six of his seven career wins.

Dikun (7-3) was also victorious at WEC 41 as he defeated Rolando Perez at the June event. He earned an extra $10,000 and "Submission of the Night" honors for his spectacular first-round flying triangle choke victory at WEC 41. Prior to the win, he suffered a loss in his WEC debut against Charlie Valencia at January's WEC 38 event. Five of his seven career wins have coming by stoppage including four by submission.

Though not officially announced, WEC 44 is being targeted to take place on Nov. 18 at the the Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, NV and the main card will air live on Versus. The event will be headlined by Jose Aldo who will get his long awaited title shot against WEC featherweight champion Mike Brown.
