George St. Pierre teams up with "The Outlaw", Dan Hardy for his upcoming title defense against Carlos Condit.

"Guess who landed in town yesterday night to come train with me?for sure he'll bring the much needed intensity to get prepared...Dan Hardy!!!" St. Pierre said on his twitter account.

St. Pierre and Hardy first met when the two fought each other at UFC 111, St. Pierre dominated and  nearly ended the fight on two occasions with submissions. The tough as nails Hardy endured until the final bell and loss via unanimous decision.

"I can see why George is the champ, he has a great team around him. I've done one session and I'm already learning a lot," Hardy replied on his twitter account.

St. Pierre is scheduled to make his seventh title defense against Condit at UFC 137 after an original scrap with Strikeforce welterweight champion, Nick Diaz, fell through.

For the Nottingham native, he has dropped three consecutive fights following his title fight with St. Pierre which brings Hardy to a 0-4 record in his last four bouts. Surprisingly enough, Hardy has remained on the UFC's roster but does not expect to fight until 2012. He cites his desires to improve his skill set before fighting once again and seems to have found his place training with St. Pierre.

"Matt Hughes would be a fun one, we are both going through a rough patch and he is.taking time off too," Hardy tweeted, pointing to a possible fight with Hughes in his return.

UFC 137 is being held on October 29 at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Headlining is St. Pierre looking to defend his welterweight title for the seventh time against Condit. St. Pierre's former opponent, Diaz, is featured in the co-main event as he takes on BJ Penn.
