Current UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre and newly-placed title contender Dan Hardy might be in line for coaching positions on The Ultimate Fighter 11, according to reports from the U.K.'s Telegraph.
Last night, Hardy defeated Mike Swick to land himself a title fight against St. Pierre. Now, rumors are saying that their fight will happen at the conclusion of TUF 11.
"The Telegraph... understands that the UFC may be considering offering coaching places to the pair for the next series of The Ultimate Fighter," the British company announced today.
The weight divisions for next season are reported as being middleweight and light-heavyweight. Coaches do not have to fight in the same weight classes that they train (for instance, current coaches Rahad Evans and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson fight at light-heavyweight, but they are training heavyweight fighters).
The current season of The Ultimate Fighter can be seen on Spike TV every Wednesday night at 10 p.m. EST. This week will feature the second round of quarterfinal fights: a match up between Jon Madsen and Brendan Schaub.
