Greg Jackson shows techniques in new book
by Natalia Baage on September 29, 2009

Greg Jackson, famed UFC trainer, has released a book entitled, "Jackson's Mixed Martial Arts: The Stand Up Game." It was released mid-last month.

In the book, Jackson shares his stand-up techniques that he has used to train the likes of Georges St. Pierre, Keith Jardine, Nate Marquardt and Rashad Evans, among others. There are many striking and counter-striking combinations, take-downs and throws discussed within the book.

Jackson also talks about his methods for developing fight strategies. With a current champion (St. Pierre), a former champion (Evans), and two division contenders (Jardine and Marquardt) under his belt, Jackson is as qualified as anybody to teach newcomers and veterans alike about the sport of mixed martial arts.

This book is co-authored by FiveKnuckles' own Kelly Crigger. Crigger is also the author of "Title Shot: Into the Shark Tank of Mixed Martial Arts," which was released last year.

"Jackson's Mixed Martial Arts" is available from Amazon.com and bookstores nation-wide.
