Hardnosed middleweights Tim Credeur and Tom Lawlor have agreed to meet inside the Octagon at UFC 113 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
According to mixedmartialarts.com, the two Ultimate Fighter season veterans have verbally agreed to the bout and the fight in in the process of being finalized.
The 32-year-old Credeur won "Fight of the Night" honors in his most recent appearance against Nate Quarry at UFC Fight Night 19 this past September. However, he suffered multiple injuries during the bout that forced an extended layoff from training for much of late 2009.
The defeat was Credeur's first loss since appearing on The Ultimate Fighter season seven. The highly regarded Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt is determined to get back on the winning track and work his way back up the rankings.
Lawlor also earned the "Fight of the Night" bonus for his most recent fight, a three-round slugfest with Aaron Simpson that several fans believe "The Filthy Mauler" won.
Lawlor is a very exciting fighter but he has been winning fans over with his antics outside of the Octagon. Most recently, he dressed up as UFC old-schooler Harold Howard and front flipped his way to the scales at weigh-ins for UFC Fight Night 20.
UFC 113 is set for May 8 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. A light heavyweight title rematch between champion Lyoto Machida and challenger Mauricio "Shogun" Rua is expected to headline the event.
