MMA's biggest secret, Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson vs. Houston Alexander at TUF 10 finale, has been about as ill kept as a secret can be. Numerous hints have been dropped from both fighters indicating that the fight is on and essentially ending the drama that Slice may be fighting for the season's ultimate prize -- a six-figure UFC contract.

The latest hint comes from UFC light-heavyweight Houston Alexander, as he confirmed yet again that he is facing Slice on a recent appearance with "The Todd N Tyler Radio Empire" show on KEZO-FM in Omaha, Neb.

"Yeah, Kevin Ferguson on December 5," Alexander said. "The fight was presented to us and we didn't even hesitate."

Spike TV earlier this week confirmed Slice's participation on The Ulimate Fighter 10 finale card Dec. 5 in Las Vegas, however, his opponent wasn't officially revealed. The UFC and Spike TV have been teasing for quite sometime that Slice may re-enter the tournament and don't seem to want to take that carrot down quite yet.

Slice was eliminated from the tournament in the seasons' third episode by Roy Nelson via second-round TKO.

Some suggest that rumors of a Slice-Alexander bout could be just a ploy to make people think that Slice isn't returning to the tournament. We all have to just wait and see until next week's two hour season finale, which features the remaining quarterfinal and the semi-final bouts.

The bout, if it does indeed go down, is likely to take place at a 215-pound catchweight; although the fight was originally set to take place at light-heavyweight (205 pounds). However, it's been speculated that Slice would have been unable make that weight.

Alexander (9-4) opened up his UFC career by scoring impressive back-to-back first-round TKO wins over Keith Jardine and Alessio Sakara. He has since lost three-straight UFC fights against Thiago Silva, James Irvin and Eric Schafer.

Alexander was most recently granted approval by the UFC to take a fight outside of the promotion, where he finally broke his losing streak by defeating Sherman Pendergarst via first-round TKO at Adrenaline IV in September.

Slice sports a 3-1 professional MMA record, with all of his fights coming under the now-defunct EliteXC promotion. He last saw official action at EliteXC: "Heat" in Oct. 2008, where he suffered his lone career loss at the hands of Seth Petruzelli. Slice is currently training with American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Fla.
