Jason Lambert to Debut at Middleweight Against Jason Day
by Paulo Silva on August 14, 2008

The UFC is announcing that Jason Lambert (23-8) will be facing off against Jason "Dooms" Day to round out the UFC 88 fight card.

Lambert, who had suffered consecutive losses at light heavyweight to Wilson Gouveia and Luis Cane has decided to try his hand at middleweight against Day, who made his UFC debut last April defeating Alan Belcher at UFC 83.

Day is coming of a first round TKO at the hands of Michael Bisping in his last effort at UFC 85 and both men need to secure a victory to keep their UFC hopes viable.
