With a big match-up against heated rival Nick Diaz out of the picture for now, Jason "Mayhem" Miller looks to be turning his attention to unfinished business with Tim Kennedy. The two have already battled twice with each earning a decision win over the other.
News of the fight was first reported by MMAMania.com.
Miller (24-7) is coming off back-to-back wins over Tim Stout and Kazushi Sakuraba and looks to thrust himself back into the Strikeforce middleweight title picture after falling short against then champion Jake Shields when the two squared off for the title back in 2009.
Kennedy (12-3) recently had a 4-fight winning streak snapped when he suffered a unanimous decision loss at the hands of current Strikeforce middleweight champion Ronaldo"Jacare" Souza.
Strikeforce's March 5 event is expected to take place at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, and will likely feature a light heavyweight title fight between champion Rafael Cavalcante and Dan Henderson.
