A veteran of 47 MMA fights, Jeff Curran returns to the UFC after signing a multi-fight deal with the promotion according to bloodyelbow.com.

Curran first debuted with the UFC back at UFC 46 against Matt Serra, nearly seven years ago. He would lose that fight via unanimous decision. More recently, Curran has gone 4-1 over five fights.

Curran is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt who has fought in numerous organizations spanning from regional promotions to the MMA's heavyweights such as Pride FC, WEC, Strikeforce and the UFC.

Throughout his 13 year MMA career, Curran has battled with some of the best the sport has to offer. Urijah Faber, Mike Brown, Joseph Benavidez, Hatsu Hioki, Antonio Carvalho, Rafael Assuncao, Matt Serra, Norifumi Yamamoto, and Ivan Menjivar are the notable MMA talents that Curran has stepped into the cage with.

Currently the date of Curran's return to the UFC is unclear, as is his opponent.
