Jose Aldo was outstanding in just his 15th fight last night. Opponent Chris Mickle didn't stand a chance in the octagon with Aldo. Aldo proved to be the much quicker man and more accurate striker.
The fight ended shortly after the bell rang in the first round. Aldo landed a flying knee to the side of Mickle's face sending Mickle back towards the cage. Aldo quickly threw in a flurry of punches; ending the fight with a TKO.
It appears as if there is room for Aldo among the many big names in the featherweight division. Aldo could someday be at the top with fighters like Urijah Faber, Mike Brown, Leonard Garcia, Jens Pulver and Brian Bowles.
Aldo has made it clear to the WEC that he should be facing more prominent fighters and is ready for whatever the WEC has to throw at him.
